Kwamoso, Akuapem North | 15th December 2025
In keeping with its mission of extending hope and compassion to vulnerable groups, the Christy Schippers Foundation carried out another donation outreach at Kwamoso, in the Eastern Region of Ghana, on 15th December 2025, reaching 60 widows and a number of school pupils within the community.
The outreach formed part of the Foundation’s end-of-year activities aimed at supporting widows, children, and families in need. Beneficiaries received Freedom Packages made up of assorted provisions and essential items, including rice, cooking oil, sardines, half pieces of cloth, clothing, footwear, candies, and other household supplies. Each package was received with grateful hearts, reflecting the joy and appreciation of the beneficiaries.
Addressing the widows, the Founder, Madam Christy Schippers, encouraged them to continue trusting their hope in the Lord Almighty. She also urged them to look out for one another, reminding them of the importance of unity, care, and mutual support within the widow community.
The Foundation extends its sincere appreciation to the Leadership of The Apostolic Church, Tabora, particularly for their generous transportation support, and to the Leadership of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Kwamoso, for providing access to their Church Hall for the programme.
As the Foundation reflects on the impact of this outreach, it calls on benevolent individuals and partners to support and collaborate with the Christy Schippers Foundation in order to expand its reach and maximise its impact on the lives of widows, children, and other persons in need.
Rooted in faith, driven by compassion, and committed to community care, we continue to serve with love, purpose and dignity.
